After many stops to inspect various formations on the way down, we
took in the panoramic views at Plateau Point. From here about half the

Welcome to the blog for the University of Michigan 2010 Soft Rock Geology Field Trip to the Southwest US! We will post updates here as network-access permits; however, as is often the case, the most interesting geology is often located in remote areas with no Internet access.
