Day 5 - Morning

Our "tent city" at Red Rock State Park, near Gallup, NM. Last night the low was in the mid-30's, an improvement welcomed by many over the previous night's below-freezing temperatures. We plan to spend tonight at Red Rock as well. For today, since we moved south early, we'll make-up the plan as we go. The general idea though is to look at geology between here and Chaco Canyon National Historic Park, and then hike in the park to explore its geology and cultural history.
